Baxter Health is pleased to welcome Jedidiah Whitt, MD, to the Baxter Health Family Clinic at Mountain View. Dr. Whitt joins Beverly Clark, DNP, APRN; Sheri Davis, APRN; and Brooke Whitt, APRN, and will begin seeing patients in early August.

Dr. Whitt completed his residency training through the UAMS North Central Family Medicine Residency Program in Batesville, spending the last three years immersed in the realities of rural medicine in this region. He leaves that training with a solid understanding of what patients in communities like Mountain View need, and he has chosen to build his practice here.

Whitt earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, graduating with honors in research. He completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Arkansas State University, where he graduated magna cm laude. His academic record reflects a physician who has always taken his preparation seriously, and his residency training in family medicine has grounded that foundation in the practical realities of caring for patients in communities like this one.
Family medicine depends on long-term relationships between patients and providers. Dr. Whitt's training and his choice to practice in a rural community reflect a commitment to exactly that kind of care.
Dr. Whitt and his wife Brooke are making Mountain View their home, and she currently practices with him as a family nurse practitioner. When he is not serving patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son. Dr. Whitt also enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking, which makes Mountain View an ideal place to put down roots.

New Faces, Familiar Roots: Brooke Whitt Joins Baxter Health in Mountain View

Baxter Health is pleased to announce that Brooke Whitt, MSN, CNP, FNP-C, has joined the Baxter Health Family Clinic at Mountain View as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Whitt began seeing patients earlier this year and is currently accepting new patients.

Whitt is a familiar face in the region, having grown up in north central Arkansas. Practicing close to home reflects a personal commitment to the communities she has always known. She brings more than a decade of healthcare experience to her new role, including six years as a school nurse serving pediatric patients in the Southside School District and three years as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. She also served as a nurse for Arkansas Girls State and gained additional bedside experience in medical-surgical and pediatric care at White River Medical Center.

Whitt earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from Henderson State University in 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has pursued continuing education through Harvard Medical School, including coursework in lifestyle medicine. She has also served as an exam reviewer for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.

Outside of the clinic, Whitt values the same things that draw so many people to life in the Ozarks. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, and boating, making her a natural fit for the Mountain View community. Whitt’s husband, Dr. Jed Whitt, will also begin practicing at the clinic in August.

Baxter Health is pleased to welcome Sheri Davis, APRN, to Baxter Health Family Clinic at Mountain View, where she joins the practice of Beverly Clark, APRN, and Brooke Whitt, APRN.

Sheri brings nearly two decades of healthcare experience to her new role. She has served as a registered nurse since 2007 and has practiced as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) since 2016.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner with a decade of experience, Sheri has focused her career on rural healthcare, partnering with communities across Arkansas to expand access to quality medical care. As a family nurse practitioner, Sheri provides comprehensive primary care for patients across the lifespan. Her services include preventive care such as wellness exams, sports physicals, and women’s health services, including pap smears and hormone replacement therapy. She is also DOT-certified and offers Department of Transportation physicals. In addition, Sheri treats acute illnesses and injuries and manages chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and congestive heart failure.

Sheri is honored to serve the community she proudly calls home. She moved to Mountain View in 2007 after marrying her husband, a Mountain View native and alumnus. Together, they are raising three children who are actively involved in local school sports and activities.

Outside of caring for her patients, Sheri enjoys spending time with her family, staying active in her church, and working on their cattle farm. She also loves outdoor activities such as skiing, camping, boating, and hiking.

The clinic was thrilled to sponsor a cookout at Timbo elementary for Plant a Story last week! We got to see some familiar faces and our director talked to the kids about growing flowers. Nicole did a great job of coordinating the program. We sure miss these ladies but they are still serving our community ❤️
