The Tri-State Regional Swim Meet sponsored by Children's Lightning Wheels PSC will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Rutgers University, Piscataway, NJ. Several members of the team were part of the voting and presentations at the Union Elks Annual Car Show. Awards were presented at the end of the day by Caitlin Goerlich, former team member, and Grace Pagentini, current athlete. Both also had the opportunity to get a close up look at one of the motorcycles and have a short ride around the parking lot. A good time was had by all. Many thanks to the Union Elks for a great day.

The Children's Lightning Wheels PSC was very successful at the 2019 Adaptive Sports USA Junior National Championships in Bloomington, MN. The athletes achieved a total of 31 PR's (personal records) and for their efforts the team was awarded the second place trophy in the medium team category where there were eight other teams of 5 - 7 athletes. Congratulations to Aidan, Nicholas, Sarah, Ethan, Gavin, Nettie and Isaac and to coaches Julie, AnneMarie, Elke, Paul and Trisha for getting them ready for the competition.

The Children's Lightning Wheels PSC are headed to Bloomington, MN to participate in the annual Adaptive Sports USA Junior National Championships. The seven athletes will be accompanied by three coaches and will compete in track, field, swimming and powerlifting. Good luck to Aidan C, Nick, Sarah, Ethan, Gavin, Nettie and Isaac as they compete against over 200 other athletes in this week-long Paralympic style event.

Six members of the Children's Lightning Wheels PSC will be swimming in the Tri-State Regional Swim Meet at Rutgers University on Saturday, March 2, 2019. The swimmers are ready for their first competition of the season. Good Luck!

Mark your calendars now for the Annual Tri-State Regional Swim Meet on Saturday, March 2, 2019 and the 35th Annual Invitational Track & Field Meet on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Details for both events will be available in January.

The 34th Annual Invitational Track and Field Meet will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Rahway River Park. This meet is open to any athlete with a primary diagnosis of a physical disability ages 6 and up. Pre-registration is required.
