Postpartum Anxiety: You Are Not Alone 🤍
The postpartum period is a time of incredible change — physically, emotionally, and mentally. While many people talk about postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety is also something many new parents experience.
Postpartum anxiety can look like:
• Constant worrying about your baby’s safety or health
• Feeling like something bad is going to happen
• Racing thoughts that are hard to quiet
• Difficulty sleeping, even when your baby is resting
• Feeling overwhelmed, restless, or unable to relax
• Needing constant reassurance that everything is okay
Having worries as a new parent is normal, but when fear and anxiety begin to take over your daily life, you deserve support.
Please remember: asking for help is not a sign of weakness — it is a sign of strength and love for yourself and your baby. You do not have to walk through this season alone.
As a doula, I believe in supporting families not only through birth, but also through the emotional transition into parenthood. 🤍
If you or someone you love is struggling, reach out to your healthcare provider or a trusted support person. Support is available, and healing is possible.
