the most common cosmetic dental procedures. Veneers are custom made thin shells of porcelain that are chemically bonded to each tooth. Once bonded to the tooth, they are very strong. They are designed to cover the front side of tooth to correct stained, chipped, decayed or crooked teeth. Porcelain veneers look completely natural and are virtually impossible to detect. They are sometimes used as "instant orthodontics" for a fast, cost effective alternative to braces. -Braces and orthodontic treatments are used to correct "bad bites" which may be caused by crowded or crooked teeth. In some cases, your teeth may be straight but your upper and lower jaws may not meet properly. Straightening your teeth may be accomplished in different ways.

Yes, electric toothbrushes generally do a better job of removing plaque than manual toothbrushes, especially when used correctly.
The evidence is pretty solid: studies find powered toothbrushes produce modest but significant reductions in plaque and gingivitis compared with manual brushing.

A few reasons they can win:

🦷 They do the brushing motion for you. Helpful if someone brushes too hard, too quickly, or misses areas.
⏱️ Built-in timers encourage the full 2 minutes.
🚨 Many models have pressure sensors, which are great because aggressive brushing can damage gums.
🎯 Oscillating-rotating and sonic brushes can both be effective. You don't necessarily need the most expensive model.
👵 They can be particularly helpful for people with arthritis, limited dexterity, or braces.
But here's the catch: An electric toothbrush isn't magic. A person using a manual toothbrush carefully for two minutes can still have excellent oral hygiene.

One important tip: If you're shopping for an electric toothbrush, prioritize a pressure sensor and 2-minute timer over paying extra for a toothbrush with 47 Bluetooth features you never use. 😂
