Kitten Season is in FULL SWING here at MVH!

If it feels like kittens are popping up ~everywhere~right now… you’re not imagining it! 🐱 This time of year brings an overwhelming number of litters into shelters, rescues, and neighborhoods. ONE unaltered cat can lead to dozens (even hundreds!) of kittens over time!

Spaying and neutering isn’t just about preventing unwanted litters though! These procedures also help:
🐾Reduce the number of homeless pets in our community
🐾Lower certain health risks and cancers
🐾Reduce spraying, roaming, and certain behavioral issues
🐾Keep your furry family members healthier and happier longer

Found kittens? Before scooping them up, remember: mama cats are often nearby and may simply be out searching for food. If the kittens appear safe and healthy, observe from a distance first!
