🍪 Celebrating National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! 🍪

Healthcare is about more than treating patients. It is also about supporting the people who care for them every day. A positive workplace culture helps our team provide the best possible care to the children and families we serve.

Today, we took a moment to boost morale and share a little sweetness with our team. Sometimes it's the simple things, like homemade chocolate chip cookies, that bring people together and brighten the day. A small gesture and a warm cookie can go a long way toward putting a smile on everyone's face!

On July 25, 2026, Anthem plans to remove Meridian Health Services from its Medicaid network, however choosing to continue coverage for private and commercially insured Meridian patients. For more than 18,000 Medicaid patients, that could mean losing access to the Meridian providers they know and trust. For families already managing appointments, medications, therapies, and everyday care, this decision could bring added stress, uncertainty, and care delays.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Extreme Heat Warning for Next Week! ⚠️
Indiana is bracing for extreme heat starting Monday, June 29th, with “feels like” temperatures reaching up to 108°.
Please take extra precautions with your children next week: ✅ Plenty of water ✅ Stay in the shade or AC ✅ Limit outdoor play ✅ Watch for signs of heat exhaustion (dizziness, fatigue, or nausea)

18,000 Hoosiers could lose trusted local care if Anthem removes Meridian Health Services from its Medicaid network on July 25. Anthem will still cover private and commercially insured Meridian patients, but is choosing to end access for Medicaid members this will create longer wait times, delayed treatment, and barriers for families.

The laughter, the smiles, the memories, and the opportunity to connect families with high-quality local care made our Kids Carnival everything we hoped it would be and more. ❤️ From fun activities and community connections to valuable health screenings, it was a wonderful day celebrating the families we are proud to serve.
Thank you to every family who joined us as we celebrated 50 years of caring for our community. Seeing children enjoy the games and families connect with our team made this event truly special.
