Seven-year-old Ben O’Reilly was often left out because he was the only deaf student in his school and few people knew sign language. But when one classmate took the time to learn a few signs, others followed. Soon, students and teachers across the school were signing, communicating, and making sure Ben was included in conversations, friendships, and play.

What began as one child’s act of kindness became a powerful reminder that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and included. Sometimes, changing someone’s world starts with learning their language. 🤟💙

When Cooper was diagnosed with autism at just 18 months old, his family was given a discouraging outlook on what his future might be. He was non-speaking as a young child and didn’t say his first words until first grade.

Today, at 19 years old, Cooper is a trained firefighter and EMT in Alaska saving lives, breaking barriers, and proving that an early diagnosis does not define a person’s potential. 💙

Every autistic journey is different. Progress may look different, timelines may vary, but never underestimate what an autistic child can achieve. Their story is still being written.
