Lisa Kerr is a part of our physical therapy department at Bethel Pointe Health & Rehabilitation.
Lisa has been with Bethel Pointe for 5 years. She studied at Ivy Tech and got her PTA degree at the age of 46. She had dislocated her arm in high school and the doctor said it would never be straight again. A PT walked in and said if you do the exercises I am giving you, it can be fixed. It worked and that is what inspired me to work in this field. Lisa says the best part about working at Bethel Pointe is, "her co-workers and residents." In fact, Lisa says the most rewarding moments she has experienced is, "watching someone walk again after an injury or illness, it never get's old!" Lisa says her favorite memory of a resident is, "I worked with a resident that had broken both legs and thought she would never walk again. After working together for 3 months, she happily walked out of our facility!" In her spare time, Lisa can be found watching sports and visiting her kids.

Marigold "Goldie" Sestoso is a part of our physical therapy staff at Bethel Pointe Health & Rehabilitation.
Goldie studied at Southwestern University. She says what inspired her to go into this field was, "a physical therapist helped my father walk again after a patellar fracture. The therapy teams unified effort to make a positive impact on their residents and families to regain function and helping them safely transition to home or the next level of care is very inspiring." Goldie says the best part about working at Bethel Pointe is, "the cohesive atmosphere among the staff. I appreciate the supportive attitude of my fellow PT's and PTA's. Jessica's leadership is commendable!" The most rewarding moment that Goldie has ever experienced is, "it is when residents express better understanding of their new ways and techniques in doing tasks and having better understanding about the safety aspects of performing mobilities and better awareness with why planning is essential of how to safely move around their living environment."
Her favorite memory while working for us is, "last December 27, 2025, was her 50th birthday celebration. I had asked my husband if I could invite my co-workers but he said no because we had a limited budget. When the day finally arrived, seeing my colleagues in the crowd made my birthday truly extra special." In her spare time, she enjoys gardening. She loves taking care of her roses and vegetables. In fact, she has 20 orchids at home and 20 different varieties of roses in her garden.

Zachary Bookmyer is a part of our physical therapy staff at Bethel Pointe Health & Rehabilitation.
Zach has been at Bethel Pointe for 8 years and is a go-getter. He studied at Ball State and IU. His eagerness to help others is what led him to work at Bethel Pointe. He says the best part about working at Bethel Pointe is, "the residents." Zach says the most rewarding moment he's experienced is, "seeing my residents succeed and come back to say hello." When asked what his favorite memories are of a resident or co-worker he said, "there are too many to list!" When Zach isn't working, he enjoys spending his time reading, cooking and playing board or card games.

Celebrating National Physical Therapy month with a shout out to Kristin Cavanaugh another amazing part of our physical therapy staff.
Kristen has been at Bethel Pointe for 16 years. She graduated from Ivy Tech. She had previously worked in group homes helping disabled individuals and that is what inspired her to become a PTA. When asked what her most rewarding moment is she has experienced, she said, "when previous residents come back to see us after they discharge and are succeeding at home after regaining their independence." She also enjoys National Nursing Home week and dressing up for the themed days because it always puts a smile on the residents faces. Kristin said the best part about working at Bethel Pointe is, "my amazing co-workers." Kristin loves to spend her spare time shopping and baking. Fun fact- she has an identical twin sister!

Bethel Pointe is proud to have been recognized by VOHRA Wound Physicians as a Certified Healthcare Center for Wound Excellence!

We are beyond blessed by this honor. Bethel Pointe has two wound nurses on staff, Amy Craiger and Holly Webb. They, along with all of our nursing team, provide quality care to our residents. We focus on individualized treatments and recovery programs for residents with wounds such as: debridement, compression therapy, E-stim, diagnostic lab testing, flap and skin grafts, wound vacs, PICO, vascular assessments and we focus on nutritional needs of our residents that need wound care.

Meet Jessica Foreman our Rehab Director and a part of our physical therapy department.
Jessica has been with Bethel Pointe over 17 years! She went to college at Ivy Tech and she stated that her inspiration for working at Bethel Pointe is, "I've always known my heart belonged in health care. My health occupations class in high school helped me determine physical therapy was my passion."
Jessica shares that her co-workers are the best part about working at Bethel Pointe. They all work so well together and pride themselves on teamwork. When asked what her most rewarding moment was she's experienced, she said, "its always very rewarding to progress a resident from bedbound to ambulatory. Helping someone take those first steps after being down so long is the best feeling." Jessica also said the best memories with residents or co-workers has to be National Nursing Home Week. "It always is the best at Bethel Pointe. We have so much fun dressing up each day, and the residents really enjoy it." In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband , three kids and puppy.
Jessica is a great asset to the team and we are beyond blessed to have her as a part of our Bethel Family! Thanks Jessica for all you do!
