Usually I try not to get political on FB but I wanted to share with everyone about a bill being pushed in the Indiana State Senate this session. The bill is SB 242 and would allow you to get an Eye Examination “online” without ever visiting a doctor.
I have had numerous patients over the years that had 20/20 vision and yet had a significant eye or health problems that would never have been detected through an “online eye exam”.

I have had patients with undiagnosed high blood pressure, Lyme’s disease, diabetes, glaucoma, pancreatic cancer, brain tumors, pressure on the brain, Multiple Sclerosis and many other diseases and yet were still 20/20. It’s truly surprising what the eyes can tell about ones health.

Please call your State Senator and tell them this is dangerous to Indiana and people we all care for and love. Senate Bill 242

I’m ok with comments. It’s not about money it’s about what people truly do not know about their eyes.
