Now offering: Airway + Craniosacral Therapy

August–September Introductory Rate: $65 for 60 minutes Regular rate: $110 beginning October 1

Experience a functional approach to airway health and nervous system regulation.

Intraoral (mouthwork) CranioSacral Therapy is a specialized hands-on technique that works inside the mouth using gloved hands. This subtle approach supports the deeper layers of tension held in cranial bone alignment, the jaw, temporomandibular joint (TMJ), tongue, throat, and upper neck.

Whether you’re recovering from persistent jaw tension & facial pain, headaches & migraines, clenching, trauma, dental procedures, or carrying heavy stress in your head, neck and shoulders, our sessions promote deep ease to help your body soften, unwind, and return to balance.

Many clients feel a sense of space, relief and even emotional release as jaw tension unwinds. This approach to manual therapy is not forceful. It’s intuitive, gentle and grounded in the body’s wisdom.

Every treatment is gentle, fully explained beforehand, and performed only with your informed consent while wearing medical gloves. This work is designed for nervous system regulation and supports physical relief in your jaw and in your life.

Sessions Include full body craniosacral assessment and light touch therapy.

Ideal for:
* TMJ dysfunction
* Teeth grinding and clenching
* Chronic headaches or migraines
* Facial pain
* Airway restrictions
* Mouth breathing
* Orthodontic or dental tension
* Neck tension
* Post-concussion recovery
* Nervous system regulation
* Trauma Informed Healing
* ADHD, Sensory Overload

Children book 30 minute CranioSacral Therapy sessions.

*Please note, this form of manual therapy is not a substitute for dental, medical, sleep or airway evaluation and does not diagnose or treat airway disorders.

Gentle does not mean ineffective. It means working with your body.

Question:

Manual Lymphatic Drainage, I had axillary clearance with breast cancer, the woman who was supposed to help with lymph movement massages was so rough I chose not to continue, it was painful and took ages to recover each time, is this how it is supposed to done or is a more gentle approach utilising the whole system with deep breathing and movement the better way?

Answer:

Thank you for your question!!

Not at all. ❤️ Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) should generally be very gentle. The superficial lymphatic vessels lie just beneath the skin, so excessive pressure is not necessary and can sometimes increase discomfort, especially after axillary lymph node removal.

Lymphatic vessels take time right regenerate and are delicate. Aggressive manual therapy can increase inflammation and create fibrosis, swelling an slow healing.

A skilled therapist should adapt treatment to your individual tissues, healing stage, and symptoms.

Deep breathing, gentle movement, good posture, and treating the body as an interconnected lymphatic system are all important parts of supporting lymphatic flow.

If treatment is consistently painful or you need days to recover afterward, it's reasonable to discuss this with your therapist or seek a second opinion. Your body has already experienced trauma.

Every person is different, and good clinical judgment is key. Gentle does not mean ineffective. 💚

The digestive system and lymphatic system are not simply neighbors, they are partners. Their continuous collaboration allows us to absorb nourishment, defend against disease, regulate inflammation, and maintain internal balance every day.

Sometimes the most profound improvements in wellness come not from treating one system alone, but from appreciating how beautifully connected the entire body truly is.

The Liver & Lymphatic System: Your Body’s Ultimate Power couple

Most people think of the liver as the body’s detox organ, but it’s also one of the largest contributors to the lymphatic system.

The Liver:
• Produces up to 20–50% of the body’s lymph
• Filters blood and removes toxins
• Houses specialized immune cells
• Maintains healthy protein and fluid balance
• Relies on efficient lymphatic drainage to stay healthy

Together, the liver and lymphatic system form one of the body’s most remarkable partnerships for healing and restoration.

Deep diaphragmatic breathing is one of the body’s most powerful natural mechanisms for moving lymphatic fluid.

There is a specific sequence of events that occur with each breath. As the diaphragm descends during inhalation and rises during exhalation, pressure changes within the chest and abdomen create a gentle pumping action that helps propel lymph through the thoracic duct and back into the bloodstream. Rather than relying on the heart like the circulatory system, the lymphatic system depends on movement, both musculoskeletal and diaphragmatic, to keep fluid flowing.

But breathing is more than a mechanical process.

It is our primary source of life, and our breathing patterns often reflect our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Over time, chronic shallow breathing can reduce oxygenation, increase stress physiology, and diminish one of the body’s natural mechanisms for supporting healthy lymphatic circulation and recovery.

Shallow breathing can contribute to:
* Reduced oxygen delivery
* Increased stress response
* Poor lymphatic circulation
* Muscle tension
* Fatigue and decreased resilience

Deep diaphragmatic breathing helps:
* Enhance lymphatic and venous return
* Support healthy oxygen exchange
* Stimulate the parasympathetic (“rest and restore”) nervous system
* Promote relaxation and resilience
* Support the body’s natural cleansing and recovery processes

Every breath is an opportunity to support your body’s flow.

Breathe deeply. Move lymph. Restore your flow.

There are moments that remind me exactly why I chose this path.

Receiving words like these is deeply humbling. It is an incredible privilege to walk alongside clients through seasons of healing, recovery, and renewal. Every person who trusts me with their care becomes part of a story that is uniquely their own, and I never take that trust for granted.

Whether we’re working to support the lymphatic system after cancer treatment, improving mobility, restoring healthy sleep, exploring nutrition, or simply helping the nervous system find a place of calm again, my goal is always the same: to meet you where you are and support your body’s remarkable ability to heal.

To this wonderful client… Thank you for your kindness, your trust, and for allowing me to be a small part of your journey. Your words mean more than you know.
