☀️ Middle Tennessee Heat Safety Reminder

Extreme heat can be especially dangerous for older adults. A few simple steps can help prevent heat-related illness:

• 💧 Drink plenty of water.
• 🏠 Stay in air-conditioned spaces when possible.
• 🌡️ Avoid outdoor activities during peak afternoon heat.
• 📞 Check on aging family members, neighbors, and friends.
• 🚨 Call 911 immediately if someone shows signs of heat stroke, including confusion, loss of consciousness, or a body temperature above 103°F.

At SYNERGY HomeCare, we encourage everyone to look out for our seniors during this heat wave. Sometimes a quick check-in is all it takes to keep someone safe.
