One of our favorite parts of care is hearing about the changes people start noticing outside of the office. Sometimes it’s sleeping better. Sometimes it’s having more energy, feeling more like yourself, or realizing your body is handling the day a little differently than it used to.

Those changes matter!

The difference between a regulated and dysregulated nervous system is literally EVERYTHING!!

What if you are noticing signs of dysregulation in your child? From wired and exhausted. Or shut down and hard to reach. 😣

This points to a nervous system stuck in stress mode, unable to shift into rest and regulation. One foot on the gas, one foot on the brake, engine roaring, nothing moving forward.

It usually builds slowly, layer by layer, through prenatal stress, birth interventions, and early childhood load. But that doesn't mean there isn't hope! It means it can also shift. 🙌
