I'm feeling incredibly humbled today.

I've been voted Best Massage Therapy in the 2026 Main Street Awards.

While this isn't the first time I've received this honor, it certainly hasn't become routine. If anything, it means more to me with each passing year, and I'm somehow even more surprised and more grateful than the year before. It never feels expected, and I never want to take it for granted.

To every person who took the time to vote... thank you.

To every client who has trusted me with their pain, their healing, their stories, their tears, their laughter, and their lives over the years... thank you.

Owning a small business isn't always easy. There are days filled with self-doubt, long hours, and wondering if what you're doing is making a difference. Moments like this remind me why I keep showing up.

A little behind-the-scenes of why appointment policies exist 🤍

When you book a session, that time is reserved just for you — and in a hands-on profession like mine, it’s not something I can double book or easily replace last-minute.

Late cancellations, no-shows, and repeated last-minute reschedules don’t just shift a schedule… they directly impact my ability to run my business.

To keep things running smoothly for everyone:

• A valid card on file is required

• 24-hour notice is needed for changes

• Missed appointments / no-shows are subject to the full charge

If something comes up, I truly understand - life happens. Communication is always appreciated and makes a big difference.

This morning on my way to work, I was praying about a lot of things - but especially this: that I would be connected with clients who truly value my work, that I’m genuinely making a difference in people’s lives, and that I would feel the truth of my own value.

Lately, a few situations have really been testing me and putting me through the wringer. It’s been draining, and at times it’s made me question my worth.

But today… was a reminder.

My schedule was full. I welcomed a new client who was so excited to have found me. The rest of the day was filled with longtime clients who rely on this work to stay out of pain and keep living their lives fully.

And my last client… she’s been with me for 9 years. After a serious surgery, she hadn’t been in for 6 months. Today was her first session back.

She told me how much pain she’s been in, and how it reminded her exactly why she’s always come monthly. Then she said something I won’t forget:

That I’m a line item in their family budget. A medical expense. Because that’s how important this work is to her.

That’s why I do what I do.

I help you feel better so you can live better.
