Critical services for survivors are at risk.

Join advocates nationwide TODAY in urging Senate leadership to pass the bipartisan Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act.

The Crime Victims Fund supports services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, trafficking, and other crimes. It is funded by monetary penalties from federal criminal cases, not taxpayer dollars.

But annual deposits have dropped by an average of $1.5 billion over the past decade, and the fund’s remaining buffer is gone. Programs are already reducing services, laying off staff, and closing their doors.

The Stabilization Act would redirect unobligated funds from the False Claims Act into the CVF, helping preserve critical services without using taxpayer dollars.

The House passed the bill unanimously. Now the Senate must act.
