Here’s a few things your team at Code One has been up to lately!
ZOLL Medical hosted a couple of AED sales teams at their offices in Chelmsford, MA, last week. Our very own AED Sales lead Mitchell Whittenburg was in attendance along with our partners from GoRescue CPR Baltimore!
Another rollout of ZOLL AED Plus AEDs we’re delivered to Middle Tennessee Electric to be placed on their service trucks.
A generously donated ZOLL AED Plus was installed in a popular local restaurant, The Alley on Main! Code One donated the alarmed cabinet due to the high number of visitors & to alert staff to any emergency.
We are extremely encouraged to see the needle moving in a positive direction regarding widespread Public Access Defibrillators (PAD). It is THE only treatment for Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). The last two days our sales lead has delivered 68 AEDs & 200 Bleeding Control Kits to various businesses & schools across middle Tennessee! We are beyond grateful for the opportunity to strengthen the Chain Of Survival of Sudden Cardiac Arrest & help to stop the second most leading cause of preventable death, uncontrolled bleeding.

More lifesaving equipment was rolled out to some of our customers today! First Choice Wellness & Infusion Centers and Specialty Pharmacy picked up 3 ZOLL AED Plus devices that will be placed in their centers. The Grove FWB Church picked up their ZOLL AED with G3 Rescue Pack that also contains First Aid supplies to include Bleeding Control kits. We are grateful for their trust & the partnership to equip them to be the difference makers in their communities, businesses & places of worship.

With the leading cause of death for student athletes being SCA, we’re hopeful this initiative will help to significantly reduce that number.

“Only seven states have implemented all three best practices, and as many as 23,000 people under age 18 experience sudden cardiac arrest outside of hospitals, according to an NFL news release. It’s the leading cause of death for student-athletes.”
