For us, it's also the place where many overcome fears of swimming, the discouraged find their strength, a diagnosis finds its rehabilitation, legs learn to walk again, the athlete trains, stroke survivors lead boot camp classes, cancer survivors proudly tread on, a child can see and learn from mermaids, and the family sings happy birthday.
