William Chester Faulk, age 78 of Beechgrove, TN passed away at home on Monday, June 1, 2026.
He was born on August 31, 1947, in Murfreesboro, TN to the late James and Kitty Lee Faulk.
William retired from Rutherford County Highway after 27 years of service.
Also preceded in death by his son, James Scott Faulk; granddaughter, Heather Faulk; brothers, Jack Faulk; Gilbert Faulk; Bobby Lee Faulk; Harrell Faulk; sisters, Joyce Faulk; and Peggy Sue Comer.
William is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Linda Byrd Faulk; son, Joseph (Tracy) Faulk; grandson, Andrew Faulk; granddaughter, Lauren Faulk; great-granddaughter, Kadence Crowell; sisters, Shirley (Clem) Torrejon; Linda Jo Aviles; Barbara (Mike) Blackburn; and numerous extended family members.
William loved to go hunting and fishing. He loved his family time but most of all, loved spending time with his grandchildren and great granddaughter.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 2:00pm – 6:00pm.

On Sunday, January 28, 1940, in Nashville, TN was a bitterly cold and snowy day. The Cumberland River in downtown Nashville was frozen over. People were actually walking across the river. On that day Billie Naie Robertson made his entrance into the world. The proud parents were Earl and Elizabeth Robertson. Billie went to be with his Lord on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 86.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Bessie E. Ferrell; Mary Frances Usher; and brother, Dan May Robertson.

Billie is survived by his precious daughters, Daphine (Mark) Capps; Jayne (Scot) Head; grandsons, John (Kerri) Capps; Jerimy (Julie) Capps; Grayson Head; 4 sweet great granddaughters, Hannah (Whit) Shrout; Kendall Capps; Kelsey Tomlin; Brynlynn Capps; 1 sweet great great granddaughter, Lucy Shrout; sisters, Lois Lassiter; Robin Allen; and many loving nieces; nephews; and friends.

He was a member of Giles Creek Baptist Church in Smyrna, TN. He worked for O’Charley’s in accounting for 30+ years.

Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11:00am – 1:00pm with the service to follow at 1:00pm in the chapel. Chuck Willis will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Hospital in Billie’s name.

Daniel Wayne Garvin, 51, of Murfreesboro, TN unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

A quiet, laid-back, and gentle old soul, Daniel spent his life finding true peace in the simple things. He was a passionate guitarist whose heart belonged to music, and he held a deep, tender affection for his beloved cats. Though he faced significant health challenges and became disabled in recent years following a stroke, he carried himself with a quiet resilience and never lost his trademark gentle spirit.

Daniel’s warmth and kindness will be forever cherished by his family. He is survived by his loving son, Christopher Garvin; his father, John Ronnie Garvin; his sister, Carol Garvin Tomlinson; and his brothers, John (Pam) Garvin, Jacob Garvin, and Billy Garvin. He is now peacefully reunited with his beloved mother, JoAnn Garvin, who preceded him in death.

A celebration of life service to honor Daniel’s memory will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 6:00 p.m. on June 3, 2026. Visitation with the family will be from 3:00-6:00 p.m.

The family deeply appreciates the overwhelming love, comfort, and support shown to them during this incredibly difficult time.
