What is Creation Therapy and how is it used to counsel and minister to others?
Creation Therapy is a comprehensive study of temperament, which is the inborn part of man, placed there by God, that determines how we react to people, places, and things. It pinpoints our perspective of ourselves and the people who are significant in our lives. It determines how well we handle the stresses and pressures of life.
Creation Therapy and the Arno Profile System provides a credible alternative to the counseling techniques currently available to the Christian community. The therapeutic model taught in this course has a proven success rate of 93.4% based on therapy conducted with over 7,000 counselees.

Sunday is coming...Praying you all have a blessed Easter celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Holy Saturday feels quiet. But quiet doesn't mean God is absent. It's the space between what was and what he is about to do, the pause before the breakthrough you can't see coming yet.

"Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10

If today feels slow or uncertain, don't rush past it. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is sit in the waiting and trust that God is working even when you can't feel it.

Sunday is coming. The resurrection is closer than you think.

What are you trusting God with in this season of waiting? 🖤

I am excited to share an important update regarding Eagles Rest Counseling Training Center and our 2026–2027 learning pathways. Click here to take you directly to my website: https://eaglesrestcounseling.com/eagles-rest-counseling-training-center/

After thoughtful planning and prayer, we are transitioning to a flexible training model that allows students to begin their journey at any time while still experiencing meaningful mentorship and community.

Begin Immediately - Integrate Monthly - Advance Intentionally

Beginning April 1, 2026, students may enroll in our interactive online self-study courses at any time. These courses allow you to move at your own pace while building a strong foundation in pastoral counseling. Attached is the enrollment form to get started. Click here to review the Prospective Student Packet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EThaGgUyMo4JrOujqojbPb2KO5JVSOb6/view?usp=drive_link

In addition to self-study enrollment, we will offer:

• A 11-week Hybrid Creation Therapy Cohort (August 27, 2026–November 5, 2026, Thursdays 6-8pm CST)
A guided, community-based experience combining live instruction and online learning. Signing up for Creation Therapy Cohort with Eagles Rest Counseling Training Center will immediately save you $600. Creation Therapy replaces 3 courses that are offered if you were to choose to study independently.

• A 4-week Specialized Intensive (March 2027, Thursdays 6-8pm CST)
Designed for students ready to deepen skill, authority, and integration. The focus will be the Advance Course, Quality, Ethics, and Legal Issues in Christian Counseling along with exclusive leadership training. The setting is also a guided, community-based experience combining live instruction and online learning.

Bonus: All enrolled students and alumni will also have access to a monthly live mentorship and integration zoom call. This ensures that even self-paced learners remain connected, supported, and equipped. (Calls will be held first Thursday of each month from 6-8pm CST, dates TBD.)

Eagles Rest Counseling Training Center is nationally aligned with National Christian Counselors Association while offering personalized mentorship and faith-based leadership formation. Our aim is not simply certification—but preparation, integrity, and spiritual maturity in the counseling call.

If you are considering beginning your training, you may now explore the open enrollment pathway and start immediately.

If you are interested in the 11-week hybrid cohort, applications will open June 1, 2026.

If you would like to schedule a brief call to discuss your best next step, simply reply to this email and we will arrange a time.

It would be an honor to walk with you in this calling.

Happy New Year! I think most can agree that 2025 had its challenges, losses, struggles, and also victories. I am welcoming 2026 with open arms and ready to see all that God has for me, my family, Eagles Rest Counseling and Eagles Rest Counseling Training Center.
I am also open to trying new things in my own growth and healing journey. Like being more mindful, less complaining, more embracing Sabbaths, less critical of myself and others, etc. And I hope you are too.
If you are open to trying new things like seeking pastoral counseling or you feel God tugging on your heart to become a Pastoral Counselor, I am open and ready to see new clients and new students. If you are not ready to take that leap yet, start somewhere, anywhere to embrace movement and growth and become all that God has planned for you.
I'm including in this post a Mindfulness Calendar for January 2026. If you do nothing else, maybe focus just on January 24 - Step away from screens for 5 minutes and let your mind rest. Your mind needs a break and a rest, just like your body needs fuel and rest after running a marathon. Just sayin'!
