Congratulations to Tamara Welton, OTR, on Achieving Board Certification in Gerontology!
We are proud to announce that Tamara Welton, OTR, has successfully earned her Board Certification in Gerontology, a distinguished accomplishment that recognizes advanced clinical knowledge, expertise, and commitment to excellence in the care of older adults.
Tamara is the first Occupational Therapist in the Eastern Region to achieve this prestigious certification and join the growing group of board-certified specialists serving NHC. This accomplishment reflects her dedication to advancing her professional knowledge and her passion for providing exceptional geriatric care.
Tamara has been a valued full-time therapy partner at NHC Oak Ridge since 2007, where she has consistently demonstrated compassion, clinical excellence, and a commitment to improving the lives of the residents she serves. Throughout her years with NHC, she has also played an important role in developing future professionals by mentoring occupational therapy students and supporting the growth and development of COTA partners.
Her achievement not only represents a personal milestone but also strengthens the quality of care we provide to our residents and reinforces our commitment to clinical excellence.
