Meet the staff week nine!!
Sandy Michael📞🖥️🗂️
Sandy is our Receptionist and Head of Billing and has been a valued member of our office since September 2014. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Sandy studied at Walter State University before gaining experience working in several different medical offices, including radiology and OB/GYN. She moved to Myrtle Beach in 2013 and has been an important part of our Lowcountry team ever since.
Sandy is the first smiling face our patients see when they walk through our doors, but she does so much more than her job title could ever describe. From scheduling patients and answering phone calls to handling billing, insurance authorizations, precertifications, and checking patients in and out, Sandy is always making sure things run smoothly. She also helps with payroll and countless other behind-the-scenes tasks, truly making her our “jack of all trades”! Sandy is hardworking, patient, determined, sweet, funny, and easy to get along with. We could describe Sandy in so many ways, but one thing is certain—she is truly one of the main reasons our office runs as smoothly as it does.
When Sandy is not at work, she enjoys traveling, fishing, hunting, and camping. Most of all, she loves spending time with her husband and children and making memories together.
We are so grateful to have Sandy as part of our Lowcountry team and appreciate all that she does for our office and our patients!
