Today was a busy but rewarding day for Team Carter! We had our staff moving in every direction, but when it comes to the community we love, serve, and call home, there is NOTHING we wouldn’t do to show our love and support! ❤️

Today, we would like to take a moment to honor and celebrate our hardworking, dedicated, visionary, and fearless leader, Mr. Eric L. Carter, President & CEO of Carter Funeral Home! 🎉👏🏾

Mr. Carter is truly a jack of all trades! He is a full-time father, minister, musician, singer, community leader, and active member of numerous boards and committees. Above all, he is a man of faith with an undeniable love and passion for the Muskegon community. ❤️

His heart is bigger than gold! 💛

One thing we admire most about Mr. Carter is that he will NEVER ask his staff to do something he isn’t willing to do himself. In fact, sometimes we have to remind him that he cannot do EVERYTHING! 😂🙌🏾

But that’s the kind of leader he is! He doesn’t just give instructions; he leads by example, works alongside us, pours into us, and teaches us how to lead even in his absence. He believes in building leaders, not just employees.

His vision, determination, courage, and unwavering commitment to excellence continue to inspire our entire team. Even with the many hats he wears, he never loses sight of his mission to serve families with dignity, compassion, and love.

Today, the entire Carter Funeral Home staff, along with the community we love and serve, would like to say THANK YOU! Thank you for your courageous leadership, your faithfulness, your sacrifices, and your genuine love for your staff and the Muskegon community.
