The SLCC Dining experience is second to none. With a variety of dining options in the Clubhouse and on the grounds, SLCC provides members and guests with menus and food quality that exceed expectations, and meals are always complemented by professional wait staff who personalize the dining experience by anticipating members’ needs.
All Dining Room employees will be outgoing and personable individuals interested in pursuing a server’s position in an enjoyable, fun environment. Servers will utilize excellent service skills to connect with members as well as build friendly and professional relationships with co-workers. The ideal candidate will have some previous experience in the service industry, but this is not required.
Dining Room Server Duties:
-Provide knowledgeable and professional food and beverage service to members
-Preparedness: knowing menus, beverages, member names and preferences
-Display a level of responsibility, trustworthiness, and collaboration
-Leadership by example in attitude and actions.
-Work to support the Staff Promise and goals of SLCC in every day operations
-Meet and exceed sales goals for food and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
-Contribute as a team member while adhering to SLCC Service Standards
-Maintain side work associated for Dining Room and a safe and sanitary environment
-Promote an excellent work environment by following the Standards of Excellence.
Dining Room Server Qualifications:
-18 years or older
-High school graduate or equivalent, or in pursuit of a high school degree
-Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
-Sense of urgency and a contagious positive attitude
-Demonstrates teamwork, leadership and a willingness to serve
-Ability to lift 25-30 pounds
Dining Room Back Server Duties:
-Receive and designate food orders in the kitchen
-Prepare food trays with appropriate condiments, utensils, plates, etc.
-Deliver trays to tables according to orders with service finesse
-Set up and work occasional buffet events
-Maintain kitchen according to opening and closing lists
-Have a knowledge of menus, attend menu meetings, increase food knowledge for growth
Dining Room Back Server Qualifications:
-16 years or older
-Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
-Sense of urgency, a willingness to serve, and a contagious positive attitude
-Ability to lift 25-30 pounds
Compensation:
Starting hourly pay is $9.65 plus tips
