Families are often the forgotten victims of an overdose.
When someone you love survives an opioid overdose, the fear, confusion, and trauma can stay with you long after the emergency is over. You don’t have to navigate that alone.
Our Post-Overdose Family Support Services Program provides education, resources, and compassionate support for families and loved ones impacted by an overdose.
Through this program, families can receive:
• Naloxone (Narcan) training and overdose response education
• Naloxone safety kits and overdose prevention supplies
• Fentanyl test strips and education about overdose risk
• Education on relapse warning signs and recovery support
• Trauma-informed counseling and peer support
• Referrals to treatment, recovery, and community resources
If your family has been affected by an overdose, help and support are available.
