Twisting and rotating during pregnancy 🤰

Is it safe?
Generally, yes.
But as your body changes, the way you move may need to change too.

Your body may need a different approach if twisting causes:
💥 sharp or pulling pain through your belly
💥 pelvic pressure or heaviness
💥 leaking
💥 coning or doming through your abdomen
💥 back pain that lingers after movement or exercise
💥 feeling unstable or off-balance

These aren’t signs to stop moving altogether.

They are signs your body may need better support, breath coordination, or movement modifications.

You don’t have to guess your way through pregnancy workouts.

Movement should help you feel strong, supported, and confident as your body prepares for labor and postpartum recovery.

Front Planks by each trimester🤰

Safety first!
In general, yes it is safe to continue planking throughout your pregnancy if you’re mindful of the following tips!

💛 Engage your deep core layers by scooping baby up and in. This also protects your low back.

💛 If you see any coning through your midline, it is time to rest, reset, or try an easier variation that better suits your body.

💛 You should NOT feel any bearing down or pressure into your pelvic floor.

💛 You should NOT feel any increase in back pain.

- release your glutes if they are clenched tight
- stack your posture
- shift weight into your mid foot and heels instead of forward into your toes

Small changes —> less pressure on your low back & better core support.
