We know that a cancer diagnosis comes with an overwhelming amount of information, decisions, and emotions. Part of our job is to make sure you understand every option available to you, including ones you may not have heard of yet.

Tumor Treating Fields is an FDA-cleared therapy that works by sending low-intensity electrical fields directly to the tumor site, physically interfering with how cancer cells divide. It is not chemotherapy. It is not radiation. And it is now available right here, close to home, with a team who knows you by name.

We are still reflecting on the incredible generosity of this community.

On June 5th, we hosted the Inaugural Waves of Hope Gala, a first-of-its-kind evening celebrating the mission of Coastal Cancer Center and the patients at the heart of everything we do. Supporters, donors, and friends filled the room with something that can only be described as pure, purposeful joy.

The funds raised will benefit the Carolina Cancer Foundation, Myrtle Beach, an organization dedicated to bringing world-class cancer care to patients across Horry and Georgetown Counties, from coordinating patient advocacy to helping cover treatment costs for those who need it most.

To everyone who showed up in every sense of the word, thank you. This is only the beginning.

We believe survivorship begins the moment you are diagnosed, not at the end of treatment, not after the final scan, but from that very first day.

We honor the strength, bravery, and hope it takes to walk that road, and we are committed to walking it alongside every patient who comes to us.
