đź’™ Breaking Barriers, Building Hope đź’™

Since joining the United Way of Horry County’s Breaking Barriers program in June 2025, we’ve had the privilege of providing free mental health services to uninsured and underinsured individuals across our community.

In less than a year, we’ve:
- Served 94 clients
- Provided 900+ counseling sessions
- Connected clients with 30+ community resources

Every counseling session, referral, and connection represents hope, healing, and a stronger future for individuals and families in Horry County.

Thank you to our partners, supporters, and community members who make this work possible. Together, we’re breaking barriers and creating pathways to wellness.

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month 💙

This month serves as an important reminder that mental health matters for everyone. Prioritizing emotional wellbeing, practicing self-care, and supporting one another can make a meaningful difference.

Let’s continue creating spaces where men feel supported, valued, and encouraged to care for their mental health, not just this month, but every day.

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, the importance of mental health care and support continues every day.

Open conversations about mental health create space for understanding, healing, and connection not only for others, but for ourselves as well.

No one should feel alone in what they are experiencing. By checking in, listening without judgment, and encouraging support, we can help build a stronger and more compassionate community. đź’š
