Our Director of Therapy Services, Jim Cole, and Director of Ancillary Services, Amber Barney-Jarmer, recently attended the 2026 OrthoForum Therapy Services Meeting in Tucson, Arizona.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to collaborate with industry peers, explore emerging trends in rehabilitation, and discuss innovative approaches to improving patient care and recovery.

What an incredible honor for OrthoSC!

We are humbled and grateful to be recognized as the Carolinas MGMA 2026 Practice of the Year!

To receive this distinction among so many incredibly deserving healthcare organizations across the Carolinas is truly an honor. This recognition reflects the dedication of our physicians, leadership, and more than 400 team members who work tirelessly to provide exceptional care to the communities we are privileged to serve.

A heartfelt thank you to Carolinas MGMA for organizing such a meaningful celebration of excellence in healthcare, and to our longtime partners at First Citizens Bank for the honor of presenting this award. We are especially grateful for their continued partnership and support throughout our growth.

Advancing tendon repair with innovative surgical techniques!

Dr. Benjamin Catoe recently performed a revision quadriceps tendon repair using ROTIUM Bioresorbable Wick, an advanced surgical scaffold designed to support the body's natural healing process.

By incorporating ROTIUM at the tendon-to-bone interface and over the repaired tendon, Dr. Catoe utilized an innovative approach to support tendon healing and reinforce the revision repair.

🦵 When your kneecap isn’t moving quite right, your knee may let you know.

Patellar tracking disorder occurs when the kneecap does not move properly within its groove as the knee bends and straightens. This can lead to pain around the front of the knee, popping or grinding sensations, swelling, or discomfort during activities like climbing stairs and squatting.

Treatment can vary depending on the cause and may include activity modifications, physical therapy, strengthening exercises, or other options.
