We are proud to announce the 2026 Harbor Foundation Nursing & Social Work Scholarship recipients.

We are honored to recognize the 2026 Harbor Foundation Nursing & Social Work Scholarship recipients. These are students who have chosen careers devoted to providing compassionate care and support to patients and families facing life's most difficult journeys.

What many people may not realize is that scholarships like these are made possible through the support of our community, especially our annual Butterfly Release. Every registration, sponsorship, donation, t-shirt and butterfly purchased helps fund educational opportunities for future hospice professionals.
As we celebrate this year's recipients, we also invite you to be part of the next success story by joining us for our 14th Annual Butterfly Release on August 8th. Your support today helps shape the caregivers of tomorrow.

Danielle Gunn is one of a kind. She walks into the office with a positive attitude and takes care of her patients and families like she takes care of her co-workers. With kindness, grace, and patience. She does a fantastic job with our hospice and palliative patients. After the passing of one of our patients, whose 19-year-old grandson had served as her primary caregiver, Danielle stepped in to help him navigate an incredibly difficult transition. She assisted him in obtaining caregiver benefits while his grandmother was living and was at the home the very next day after her passing. She is just incredible and we are so lucky to have her on our team!
