We celebrate not just a birthday, but an extraordinary milestone—18 years of dedicated service at Journeys Hospice. Dean, your impact reaches far beyond your title as CFO. You are our accountant, payroll expert, insurance guru, problem-solver, snow shoveler, steady leader, and the calm in the chaos. Around the office, there’s a saying we all know well—“Ask Dean.” And for good reason… you always have the answer, the solution, or the quiet reassurance that everything will be okay.
But beyond all that you do professionally, it’s who you are as a person that truly sets you apart.
From your family…
Dean loves all things outdoors—backpacking, camping, hiking, rafting, fishing…anything that brings him into nature. It’s where he feels most at peace.
He is the best dad in the world to his two daughters, Julia and Sophia, and a proud, loving father to his three bonus kids, Collin, Cal, and Cailey Mae. He’s also excited to welcome David, Julia’s fiancé, into the family.
Dean shows his love in the way he cares for others—especially through cooking. He has a special gift for bringing people together, making everyone feel welcomed, cared for, and at home.
He is the most kind, steady, and loving husband, and truly the heart of his family.
We can all agree—Dean is one of the best people we know. Life wouldn’t be the same without him.

Mike was able to go cruising in a sweet ass Corvette! Sun shining and today was a great day for him!

Do you know that Journeys Hospice is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year? To my knowledge, I am the longest standing privately owned Hospice out there locally that is. I’m so grateful and honored for all of the support over the years! Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart!
