THANK YOU to everyone who made today a huge success for the 2nd Annual SIRCC Recovery Rally!

We had the community and its people show up all while getting to share resources that helps make everyone feel safe and seen.

It took an entire committee, hundreds of hours, countless volunteers, board members, vendors, non-profits, and everyone else to be able to pull this entire event off.

We can’t say how grateful we are!!

Here’s a few pictures from today. Please feel free to share pics with us here or to our inbox!

TOMORROW is the day!!!

What a wonderful way to kick off this weekends Recovery Rally with a morning at the Idaho State Capital!

Lieutenant Governor Bedke read both Recovery Month and Su***de Prevention Awareness Month proclamations today after Governor Little signed each! We got to be a witness to the State of Idaho recognizing the village that we have and hope that’s to come 💕 We are full of gratitude and it’s a great way to kick off this weekend!

See you all at 11 am tomorrow at Lakeview Park in Nampa!!

A huge thank you to the City of Nampa and our elected officials for recognizing September as Recovery Month. 💜

There is incredibly meaningful to see an entire city government standing behind its people and publicly saying that recovery matters.

A proclamation may be words on paper, but what it represents is so much bigger. It tells people who are struggling that they are seen. It tells families that they are not alone. And it reminds those in recovery that they are valued members of this community and not defined by where they have been, but supported in where they are going.

Recovery happens in communities. It happens when people have access to support, resources, connection, opportunity, and most importantly, hope.

When our elected officials choose to recognize Recovery Month, they help reduce stigma and send a message that Nampa is a community that believes in its people and believes that lives can change.

Thank you to the City of Nampa for standing with the recovery community and along side SIRCC. Thank you for honoring the countless individuals and families whose lives have been touched by addiction and recovery.

This is what community looks like. 💜
