Today is World Mental Health Day, a reminder that your mind deserves rest as much as your body does.

When stress builds up, your nervous system stays switched on. Floating gives it a chance to power down. Weightless, floating, free from light, sound, and gravity, your body can shift out of fight-or-flight and into a deeper state of calm.

Give yourself an hour to reset this weekend. You deserve it.

10/09/2026

Float therapy is a full reset. Mind, body, nervous system. You deserve an hour that’s entirely yours. 🤍

What does 1000+ lbs of salt look like?

Epsom salt, magnesium sulfate, has been shown to alleviate anxiety and improve sleep. It helps with aches and pains, whether from arthritis, injury, or illness. It’s a hair natural volumizer and can help soothe eczema, rosacea, and acne. It helps with digestion and migraines and is good for your heart. It lowers the stress hormone cortisol and can help balance other hormones as well. Are you still reading? Cause I can keep going!

It’s estimated that up to 80% of the population is magnesium deficient, and a huge part of that has to do with farming practices and soil health, but that’s a whole other topic. The point is an astounding number of not only necessary, but integral, biochemical processes depend on magnesium, and each pod contains 1000 pounds of the stuff!

All this dissolved in just 10” of water.

A new study in Neuroscience of Consciousness followed 75 people with anxiety and depression through six float sessions.

The result: a distinct altered state the researchers named “aquahenosis”, oneness with water.

People described feeling boundless, weightless, and connected in ways that overlapped with experiences reported after psilocybin and ketamine, minus the visual effects.

The strongest results came from the group that floated longer and set their own schedule. And the feeling of expansiveness itself helped explain the lift in mood afterward.

“Floating feels like oneness.” This new study puts language and data behind something our clients have been saying for years.

It is a paradox that we encounter so much internal noise when we first try to sit in silence.⠀⠀
⠀
It is a paradox that experiencing pain releases pain.⠀⠀
⠀ ⠀
It is a paradox that keeping still can lead us so fully into life and being.⠀
⠀ ⠀
Our minds do not like paradoxes. We want things to be clear, so we can maintain our illusions of safety. Certainty breeds tremendous smugness.⠀
⠀ ⠀
We each possess a deeper level of being, however, which loves paradox. It knows that summer is already growing like a seed in the depth of winter. It knows that the moment we are born, we begin to die. It knows that all of life shimmers, in shades of becoming— that shadow and light are always together, the visible mingled with the invisible.⠀
⠀ ⠀
When we sit in stillness we are profoundly active. Keeping silent, we hear the roar of existence. Through our willingness to be the one we are, We become one with everything.⠀

We pride ourselves on setting the industry standard for health guidelines. Our float solution is filtered and sanitized 5x in entirety every hour, in between each appointment, with UV light, ozone, a 5 micron filter, and hospital grade hydrogen peroxide.

These Float Pods also contain 1,200 lbs of Epsom Salt each – making for a salt solution that is nearly 100% sterile right from the start! There’s so much salt in each pod that if we added much more the water would actually start to crystallize.

And in all reality, if you compare to a hot tub, pool, or even the water you shower in at home, this is likely the cleanest water you’ve ever been in!

Q: What if I fall asleep during my float?

A: We love this question! Falling asleep in the float pod is actually quite common, and that’s because float therapy is deeply relaxing and can help reset your circadian rhythm. The good news? Thanks to the high concentration of Epsom salt, your body floats effortlessly, making it nearly impossible to turn over like you might in bed. And if you do drift off, gentle lighting and a calming voice will bring you back to full relaxation mode at the end of your session.

Float sleep? It’s some of the best rest you’ll ever experience. 😌
