FDA recall of may common, over the counter eyedrops. The issue is poor sterilization of the products thereby risking eye infections with their use. Please take a look at the product list and stop using them immediately if you have any of the at-risk products.

A California company has recalled more than 3.1 million bottles of lubricating eye drops because it had not properly tested – and thus could not prove – whether the products were sterile.

I am proud of San Francisco for their action toward creating accountability of “Big Food” and its focus on profit over the health of Americans. Yes, we all make our own food choices, but not everyone has the equal access to healthy, whole foods. And let’s be honest, we all go for convenience sometimes. Let’s make those convenient foods as healthy as possible.
