✨ CNA Week Spotlight: Gabi ✨

This CNA Week, we’re proud to celebrate Gabi and the incredible impact she has made at Napa Post Acute!

Gabi began her journey as a CNA in 2023 after being inspired by her grandmother, whom she would accompany and assist while caregiving. Those experiences sparked her passion for helping others and led her to pursue a career in healthcare.

When she's not caring for residents, Gabi enjoys hiking, baking, and talking about her beloved 2-year-old cat, Baby Duke. Her favorite color is pink, and she brings that same warmth and positivity to our team every day.

Gabi's favorite part of being a CNA has been learning from the nurses around her and growing her knowledge and skills. That dedication recently paid off—she successfully passed her boards and is now an LVN! 🎉

Although her role is changing, Gabi chose to continue her journey at Napa Post Acute because of the supportive team and positive environment she has come to love.

"I became a CNA because I enjoy helping others." That passion has been evident in every resident she has cared for and every challenge she has taken on.

We are incredibly grateful for Gabi's dedication, hard work, and commitment to our residents. It has been an honor to watch her grow from a CNA into an LVN, and we are excited to see all she accomplishes in this next chapter.

✨Care is powerful — and so are the women behind it ✨

During Women’s Month, we proudly recognize the amazing women who lead, heal, support, and uplift within our skilled nursing community. Their dedication brings comfort, dignity, and hope to every resident we serve.

This month is also Social Services Month, and we’re especially proud that our Social Services department is led by two incredible women whose leadership and advocacy strengthen our entire community.

When asked what being a woman means to her, one of our leaders shared:

“My one word is courage.
It takes courage to be a woman — to stand tall and speak out, speak up, and be the one who stands firm in your environment, an unmovable force. A being who can be comfort, love, peace, strength, wisdom, and rage all in one little package.”

With a Bachelor’s from Westminster University, Alex brings a people-first approach to leadership.

“I believe people are what matter most. Authentic relationships, honest communication, and clear purpose are core to how I lead.”

With a background spanning operations, sales, healthcare, and technology, Alex focuses on building strong team culture, supporting high-quality resident care, and creating systems where people feel valued and supported.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys horseback riding, cars, and spending time with his beautiful family—and is soon to be a dad of two! 🤍
