Before we start…
None of these foods are “bad.”
You don’t need to fear them or eliminate them forever.

But if you’re dealing with stubborn weight gain, increased cravings, low energy, poor sleep, or finding that the weight around your midsection just won’t budge, these foods may be working against your goals more than helping them.

The good news?
Every one has a simple swap.

1️⃣ Flavored Yogurt
Many flavored yogurts contain as much sugar as a dessert.

✅ Plain Greek yogurt with fresh berries for more protein and less added sugar. Ratio 28 gram is my fav.

2️⃣ Granola & Granola Bars
They wear a health halo, but many are loaded with sugar and calories while providing very little protein.

✅ A protein-rich snack that keeps you fuller longer.

3️⃣ Fruit Juice
Even 100% juice removes the fiber that helps slow blood sugar spikes.

✅ Whole fruit instead.

4️⃣ Alcohol
Alcohol can impact sleep quality, increase hunger, and make fat loss more challenging.

✅ Limiting alcohol and prioritizing hydration.

5️⃣ Healthy Fats… in Giant Portions
Avocados, nuts, olive oil, and nut butters are wonderful foods.

Healthy? Yes.
Easy to overeat? Also yes.

Because the water has been removed, the calories and sugar become very concentrated.

✅ Fresh fruit whenever possible.

9️⃣ Bread-Based Meals
Even whole grain breads can leave some women hungry shortly after eating.

✅ Prioritizing protein first and building meals around lean protein, vegetables, and healthy fats.

At this point, I don’t know if it’s discipline, habit, or if my brain has officially become a nutrition label scanner.

This is what happens when you spend enough time learning about food. You stop guessing. You become aware.
