Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage, sacrifice, and strength shown by so many in the days that followed.

We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the heroes who gave everything to help others, the families who lost loved ones, and the countless acts of kindness and unity that reminded us of the strength of the human spirit.

Dementia Support Group August 19 Topic -->Navigating the Care Options

What happens when a loved one starts needing additional help? Join us on Wednesday, August 19, 6 – 7 p.m., at Meadowbrook Naperville for an important conversation about Navigating Care Options.

We’ll explore the different levels of care available, including in-home care, adult day services, and placement options.

We’ll also discuss the costs, pros and cons, and timing considerations associated with each option -- helping families feel more informed and prepared when making care decisions.

The Dementia Support Group, hosted by Meadowbrook Naperville, is sponsored by Carewell Hospice and Palliative Care, and facilitated by Oasis Senior Advisors Naperville.

Every recovery journey is unique, and we're honored to be part of each one.

One of our recent short-term rehabilitation patients arrived requiring maximum assistance for mobility and daily activities after a life-changing medical event. Through determination, expert therapy from ARC Therapy, and compassionate care from the Meadowbrook Naperville team, they achieved an incredible milestone -- returning home with family.

By discharge, the patient was able to walk more than 250 feet with a rolling walker, safely navigate 15 stairs, and perform daily activities with supervision.

Stories like this remind us why we do what we do. Congratulations to our patient and our dedicated rehabilitation team on another successful journey home!
