🚐💙 Week 4 of our "Decade in Drive" Tour is in the books, and what an incredible Wisconsin adventure it was!

From Charter Senior Living of Rockford to Kenosha, Mequon, West Bend, Hasmer Lake, Madison, and Verona, we were blessed to spend the week with some truly amazing residents, families, and team members.

The week was filled with everything that makes Charter special—lots of smiles, hugs, laughter, dancing, Chick-fil-A shared meals, Buoy Backyard Tricks, beautiful gatherings, sunshine-filled days, and countless moments of connection.

One of the highlights was capturing more of our Charter-wide 10-Year Anniversary Dance videos. Watching residents and staff come together to celebrate with joy, energy, and plenty of fun reminded us exactly why we started this journey—to Enhance the Human Spirit every single day.

As we travel from community to community, we continue to be inspired by the heart, purpose, courage, and love that live within each Charter family. Thank you to everyone who welcomed us, danced with us, shared a meal, and made this week so memorable.

Wisconsin, you filled our hearts!

“Decade in Drive” wrapped up its third week of the RV tour from TN, KY, to Illinois! This week’s communities were fantastic with their clever song and dance performances! It started at Charter of Hermitage, then Argentum Conference, to honor Alda Tole, our Executive Director of The Cottages of New Lenox for her award, followed by Charter Bowling Green, Calumet Trace, Charter Paducah, Charter Shiloh, Charter Troy, Charter Godfrey, Charter Washington, Charter Pekin, and Charter Moline and Memory Care. We finished at The Cottages of New Lenox with Alda Tole and her team celebrating a truly beautiful couple! Thanks for helping us host their shower event!

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. As we gather with family and friends, we reflect with gratitude on the freedoms we enjoy because of their sacrifice.

At Charter Senior Living, we are especially grateful for the veterans, military families, and heroes within our communities whose stories, strength, and service continue to inspire us every day.

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate our very own Alda Tole, CDP, Executive Director at The Cottages of New Lenox for receiving a Hero Award at the Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference this week. 🎉

This award recognizes an Executive Director who exemplifies outstanding leadership while creating a supportive, engaged senior living environment, and anyone who knows Alda knows how well deserved this honor truly is. Her compassion, dedication, and commitment to residents, families, and team members make a meaningful difference each and every day.

Congratulations, Alda, on this incredible recognition! ❤️

Week 2 of “Decade in Drive” was such a sweet success for Keven and me, along with Buoy! We drove and danced from last week’s FL/GA/SC/NC states of “Some Beach” to the Mountains of AL/TN rockin’ southern country “Wagon Wheel” visiting Charter Senior Living of Cleveland, Charter Senior Living of Chattanooga, Residences at Wellpoint, Charter Senior Living of Franklin, Charter Senior Living of Jackson, Charter Senior Living of Paris, Charter Senior Living of Murray, Charter Senior Living of White House, with playing a little tournament of Pickle 🥒 Ball for Charter White House Alzheimer’s Fundraiser!

May 5th- Our second Charter community visit took place at Southern Pines in Thomasville, GA. We thoroughly enjoyed time with the staff and participated in an engaging exercise class with residents.

Fun Fact! Keven and Fran started together and trained 27 years ago as Executive Director positions in the Marriott Senior living! Keven in Naples, Fl and Fran in Ft Myers, Fl!
