A Summer of Slowing Down, Connecting & Living Our Mission ๐
This summer, the founders of The Centered Life have been embracing the moments that remind us why we do what we do โ creating space for connection, joy, growth, and giving back.
Beyond the therapy room and the everyday work of supporting our clients, weโve been soaking up the little things that bring us back to center: tending to our gardens, enjoying fresh summer meals, spending time with the people (and pets ๐พ) we love, and remembering that wellness isnโt just something we teach โ itโs something we practice.
One of the greatest gifts of building TCL together has been the bond between its founders. What started as a shared vision to help others has grown into a friendship rooted in support, laughter, trust, and doing life alongside one another. This summer brought even more moments to celebrate โ including the excitement of welcoming baby boy Erlenbaugh (Samโs son) and watching our children continue to grow up together. Creating TCL has always been about community, and we are grateful to experience that same sense of connection in our own lives.

The same skills we encourage our clients to build โ slowing down, noticing joy, practicing gratitude, and creating meaningful connection โ are the same things we strive to live out ourselves.
Living our mission also means showing up beyond the walls of TCL. This summer, our team came together at Feed My Starving Children to serve our community by packing meals and supporting a mission that helps provide food to children and families around the world.
At TCL, we believe community is built through connection โ with our clients, our team, and the world around us. Whether we are helping someone navigate anxiety, celebrate growth, rebuild relationships, or simply find more moments of peace in everyday life, we are reminded that healing happens in connection.
