Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen in the quiet. 🤍🐾

Today, Keeli reminded us that one of the greatest therapy dog skills isn’t performing tricks—it’s patiently waiting while a child leads the interaction.

She stayed calm, gave space, and offered a comforting presence while her new friend explored at their own pace.

At Seaside Therapy, we believe relationships come before expectations. Whether it’s our therapists, our families, or our therapy dogs, we strive to meet children where they are and celebrate every step of their journey.

Most feeding therapy is 30–60 minutes once a week.

Feeding Foundations is different.

We take an intensive, interdisciplinary approach because feeding challenges rarely exist in isolation.

✔️ Speech + Occupational Therapy working together
✔️ 3 hours a day of individualized therapy
✔️ Daily practice and repetition
✔️ Looking beyond the mouth to the whole child—posture, sensory processing, regulation, motor skills, swallowing, oral function, and mealtime participation

Happy Better Speech & Hearing Month to our incredible speech therapy team 💙

Every day, our SLPs and SLPAs help children find their voices, build confidence, connect with others, and gain the skills they need to thrive. From first words to AAC communication, from feeding and swallowing support to articulation, language development, social communication, literacy, and infant feeding… this team changes lives in ways that go far beyond speech.

They celebrate the tiny wins, support families through the hard moments, advocate fiercely for their patients, and somehow still manage to make therapy feel like play.
