GET TO KNOW THE TEAM:
Dr. Kyla Meyers, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic,
Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation Certified
Growing Up
I was born and raised in Chatham, Illinois, with my parents (Jason & Jodi) and siblings (Cory and Kiara). After high school, I moved to Missouri (Go Chiefs!) and attended Southeast Missouri State University, where I graduated with honors in Biomedical Science. Then I attended Logan Universit,y where I earned my Master’s of Sports Science and Rehabilitation, and graduated in the top 10% of my class with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Finding My Calling
In 2021, I made the move to Florida to complete my preceptorship with Dr. Nikki. It turned out to be an incredible experience and the perfect fit—I instantly knew I was where I was meant to be. Since then, I’ve expanded my education by becoming certified in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM), allowing me to provide chiropractic care for animals. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, foxes, and even chickens. One day, I hope to check adjusting a giraffe off my chiropractic bucket list!
Coach Kyla
One of my greatest passions is coaching youth athletes. I began cheerleading at the age of 8 and continued through college. Today, I coach at Naples Element Allstars, where I have the privilege of working with kids of all ages and skill levels. This year, I’m especially excited to coach a new team of special needs athletes on the "Cheerabilities" team. It’s been an incredible opportunity to blend my love for cheerleading with my passion for working with children.
Love for Kids
Growing up, my parents were foster parents and my family had the opportunity to foster over 70 children throughout the years. This allowed me a unique experience that initiated my love for kids. I now enjoy adjusting infants and children, allowing them to thrive and function at their full potential.
Outside the Office
When I’m not adjusting patients or coaching cheer, you can usually find me baking, traveling, or relaxing at the beach with my boyfriend, Mike, and our dog, Lincoln. Mike is a firefighter with North Collier and a regular recipient of chiropractic care and therapies. Lincoln—our almost 10-year-old German Shepherd—loves his monthly adjustments, which help him stay youthful and full of energy!
