YOUR BONES NEED IMPACT.
Walking is great, but your bones also respond to a little “Hey, pay attention!” from impact.
Try 10 JUMPS A DAY.
Every time you land, you create a quick load through your feet, ankles, hips and spine. That mechanical stress signals your bones to adapt and maintain strength.
Barefoot? Great when it’s safe. It challenges the small muscles of the feet and allows you to feel and control your landing.
Shoes? Also great. They can provide cushioning, support and confidence—especially when you’re just getting started.
Try:
• 10 small two-leg jumps
• OR 5 jumps on each leg
• Land softly with knees slightly bent
• Start small the goal is consistency, not height
QUICK FACT: Bone likes LOAD. Bone likes IMPACT. Bone likes VARIETY.
As we age, maintaining bone strength becomes increasingly important. A little jumping can be one simple way to give your bones a reason to stay strong.
Not ready to jump? Start with quick heel drops, step-ups or controlled mini hops while holding a counter.
10 jumps. Every day. Give your bones a reason to adapt.
