“If the X-ray is normal, nothing is wrong.” That’s foot pain myth #10. 🦶 X-rays are valuable for evaluating bones and alignment, but some tendon, ligament, nerve, and other soft-tissue conditions may not show up clearly. Your symptoms and physical exam help your doctor determine what comes next. Sometimes additional imaging is helpful—but it isn’t needed for everyone.
