Dear patients and parents,

After 30 years of practice I have decided to retire from the practice of medicine. My last day will be March 31, 2022. Caring for my patients has been a great source of satisfaction and pleasure these many years and I sincerely appreciate your trust and loyalty.
I am happy to announce that Dr. Najm will take over Wilson Pediatrics and at that time the new name will become Beachside Pediatrics of Naples. Dr. Najm has been with us for more than a decade and I fully trust her medical ability. She will continue at the same location and phone number with another practitioner that we will announce when they start working.

I am writing to all the families in the practice to inform you of exciting changes that will be occurring over the next months at Wilson Pediatrics. .
On November 15th, the practice will transition from paper charts to an electronic medical record. This transition will necessitate changes in the way we practice and the way families interact with the practice. We will continue to have our staff answering the phones, but much more of the interaction will be computer
based. There is a robust and secure patient portal that will be the preferred way to request forms (vaccination record/sports physical etc), medication refills, school absence excuses and ask non-urgent questions. We will still answer our phones so if you wish to schedule a visit just call. We may not have patient appointment reminders for a short time.
We will be sending out invitations to sign up for the portal based to the email address and cell phone number we have on file. Please sign up as soon as you can as the access password only lasts one week. After that, we will have to send you another email to log in.
