The season is over. The traffic on Fifth thins out, the restaurants take walk-ins again, and Naples goes quiet for a few months. For the people who live here year-round, this is the good part. It is also, quietly, the easiest time to do something you have been putting off, while the calendar is yours and recovery does not collide with anything. No rush from us. Just the observation that the quiet stretch tends to be when our patients finally get to put themselves on the list.
