Happy ! In June we celebrate pride month, initially starting as a series of marches in summer of 1970 which were moreso protests than marches, pride has expanded to be a monthlong observation celebrating the progress made for LGBTQ rights, reflecting on the the history of LGBTQ liberation, and looking towards the future as well as current problems facing LGBTQ people.
