A lot of people think they only need to stretch and work mobility more… or only need to work on stability more.

In reality, your body needs a balance of BOTH mobility and stability.

Too much motion without control can make joints irritated and unstable.
Too much stiffness without movement can lead to nearby compensation and pain.

The goal isn’t just to move MORE, it’s to move WELL and control the positions your body gets into.

That’s why rehab, training, and recovery should include both mobility work AND stability training.

If you feel tight, unstable, achy, or limited during workouts or daily movement, there’s usually a reason behind it.

A lot of people with low back pain spend months, even years, chasing temporary relief without ever addressing why the pain keeps coming back.

Stretching, foam rolling, and resting can feel good temporarily… but they usually don’t solve the underlying problem.

In many cases, low back pain improves when you:
✔️ move better
✔️ build strength gradually
✔️ improve stability/control
✔️ stop avoiding movement completely

Pain isn’t always a sign that your back is “damaged.” Sometimes your body just needs a better strategy.

Shoulder presses are great for building overhead strength… but if they constantly cause pain, the issue may be more than just the shoulder joint itself.

A lot of overhead pain comes from:

- rotator cuff tightness or weakness
- weak upper back/stability muscles
- limited thoracic spine mobility
- pressing through poor positioning

Pain isn’t always something to “push through.” Sometimes it’s your body telling you your movement mechanics need work.

Train hard. Train smart. 💪

Most people think they’re eating enough protein… but they’re not even close.

And it’s one of the biggest reasons I see people struggle with:
• Building muscle
• Losing fat
• Recovering from workouts
• Staying consistent

A simple guideline for most active adults:
👉 0.7–1.2g of protein per pound of bodyweight

So if you weigh 150 lbs, you should be aiming for roughly 100–180g per day.

It doesn’t have to be perfect, but getting closer to that range can make a huge difference in how you feel and perform.
