Are you struggling to finish your swing?

If you feel stiff or restricted at the top of your backswing, your thoracic spine is most likely the issue. That is your mid and upper back, and it needs a significant amount of rotation to complete a full golf swing.

When it is not moving well, your body compensates through your lower back and hips. That means lost distance, inconsistent contact, and eventually pain.

David is walking through one of our favorite drills to fix it. Simple movement, no equipment needed, and you can do it right on the course before your round.

If stiffness or pain is affecting your game, DM us GOLF to chat about what’s going on.

The third trimester is the perfect time to start preparing your body for birth, and most people have no idea these exercises exist.

Emily is breaking down four of her favorite movements to help you feel more ready, more comfortable, and more in control when the time comes.

Save this one if you’re in your third trimester or send it to someone who is.

Another fun morning with Silver Circle Sports Events at the Father’s Day Trail Assail! 🏃‍♂️🌲

We loved getting to be part of a morning full of trails, community, movement, and Father’s Day weekend fun.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our tent, made a card, said hi, or shared part of your race day with us.

We love showing up for events like this and cheering on the people in our community who are out there staying active, doing hard things, and making memories with their families.

Happy (early) Father’s Day weekend from all of us at Resilience RX!

We promise, we really don’t care 😉

If we’re being serious though, it is important for you to find a provider that is the right fit for YOU! Just because someone is good at what they do doesn’t mean they are a good fit for you.

And, just because you had a bad experience with PT the first, second, or third go-round, doesn’t mean that all PT is bad.

Comment “PT” if you’re interested in working with us!

If your hip flexors always feel tight no matter how much you stretch, stretching probably is not the answer.

Chronic hip flexor tightness is usually a strength problem. When a muscle is weak, your body guards it by keeping it shortened and protected. Stretching gives you temporary relief but the tightness always comes back because you never addressed the real issue.

What actually helps is loading the hip flexors and training them to be strong through their full range of motion.

Sarah is demonstrating one of our favorites here, a seated leg lift over a kettlebell. Simple, effective, and something you can add to your warmup today.

If tight hips are affecting your training, shoot us a DM!

Hi all, my name is Lauren Fleischfresser! I am new here to the team at Resilience RX as the new Marketing & Operations Assistant.

I am local to the area and have spent the last 9 years as a sixth-grade math teacher at Silver Lake Intermediate school. My daughter, Norah (5), started 4k this year so I decided to stay home with her and spend the half-day when she is not in school with her. My husband, Nik, and I also have another little guy, Cole (3), who is the silliest and sweetest.
As a family we love spending time outside: biking, scootering, at the park, in the pool, walking around the lake, and stopping at every little library!

Some fun facts about me:

💪🏼 I have been working out in a functional fitness style gym for the last 7 years.

🤮 My very first CrossFit workout was Murph.

🏃‍♀️ I competed in my first Hyrox Mixed Doubles with my husband in Chicago in November 2025 (it was important to me - IYKYK)

📍 I’ve lived in Oconomowoc for the last 26 years.

🏠 I am a homebody who loves to host. Come over and hang out, anytime!

If you leak during squats, deadlifts, or any heavy lifting, this is for you.

There’s a simple breathing trick called “blow as you go.” The idea is to exhale right before and through the hardest part of the lift. That exhale naturally activates your pelvic floor before the pressure hits.

Most people do the opposite. They hold their breath or inhale, which spikes pressure in your abdomen and overwhelms the pelvic floor.

Try it on your next set. Breathe out as you push up or pull through. It takes a little practice but it becomes automatic fast.

Still leaking even with good breathing technique? That’s a sign your pelvic floor needs more specific work, and that’s exactly what we help with.

DM us LIFTING and let’s talk.

We chose to go cash-based on purpose. And we get asked about it all the time, so here’s the honest answer.

Insurance-based PT isn’t bad. But the model often forces clinics to stack patients, rush visits, and build treatment plans around coverage rather than care.

We wanted to do something different. One patient at a time. A full hour of actual treatment. A PT who knows your history, your goals, and what you did over the weekend that tweaked your hip.

Yes, it’s an investment. But, it gets results quicker, helps you reach higher goals, and it’s a seamless experience.

And for some, it’s actually cheaper than using their insurance. Insurance is routinely billed $400-1000 per physical therapy visit. If you have to hit your deductible, you will pay all of that. If you don’t, 20% coinsurance is still $80-200/visit.

If you want individualized, high-quality care that gets results, you’re exactly who we built this for.

Spring running season is here 🏃 and so are the shin splints.
If your shins are screaming after every run, it’s usually one of these:

☑️ You ramped up mileage too fast
✔️ Your shoes are worn out
✅ Your calves are tight and overworked

The good news? Shin splints are very treatable.

We help runners get back to pain-free miles. DM us or drop a comment below and let’s figure it out together.
