We celebrated National Lighthouse Day by letting our creativity shine! ✨
Our residents colored their very own lighthouses, and everyone put their own unique spin on their design. No two lighthouses were alike—because around here, we believe there’s always room to sea things a little differently! 🎨🌊

Did you know? ⚓️
🗼 Boston Light, located in Boston Harbor, was first lit in 1716, making it the oldest lighthouse site in the United States! It has been guiding ships safely into Boston Harbor for more than 300 years.
🗼 Portland Head Light in Maine was commissioned by George Washington and first lit in 1791. Today, it’s one of New England’s most beloved and photographed lighthouses. ❤️

From rocky shores to rolling waves, New England’s lighthouses have been beacon of hope and guidance for generations. 😉🌊

We had a shore lot of fun creating our own! And we think our residents’ artwork is absolutely light years ahead! 💡🎨

🎉🎂 There's nothing sweeter than another trip around the sun with friends! ☀️💙

We gathered to honor our amazing July birthday babies with laughter, smiles, birthday wishes, and of course... a delicious slice of ! 🍰🎈 Every birthday is a beautiful reminder that life is meant to be celebrated, and at Bridges at Nashua, we believe every resident deserves to feel extra special on their big day. 💐✨

From singing "Happy Birthday" 🎶 to sharing stories, making wishes, and enjoying sweet treats together, our celebration was filled with joy and love. ❤️ Here's to another year of wonderful moments, cherished friendships, and countless reasons to smile! 🥳🎁

🍦💪We things up this week at Bridges in Nashua! Who needs an electric ice cream maker, or an old fashion hand-crank when you’ve got teamwork, determination, and a whole lot of arm muscles? 💙

Our residents rolled up their sleeves and out, homemade ice cream, the old fashioned-ish way—by shaking all the ingredients together in a plastic bag! 🧊There were lots of laughs, a little arm workout, and the sweetest reward of all…a delicious taste of our homemade creation. 🍧

But let’s be honest is it really ice cream without the toppings? We piled on the chocolate syrup, 🍫chocolate Jimmie’s , and M&Ms, 🌈because every scoop deserves a little extra happiness!

Life is simply better when it’s shared with friends.

🐾💙 Nothing brightens a day quite like a wagging tail and a wet puppy nose!

Our residents were all smiles 😊as and her wonderful team stopped by for a visit through our valued partnership with Home Health & Hospice Care.

From gentle and warm, snuggles to sweet nuzzles and happy , these special moments filled our community with laughter, comfort, and joy. 🤗

Pet therapy 🦮offers so many wonderful —from reducing stress and anxiety to encouraging conversation, stimulating memories and promoting emotional well-being. But perhaps the greatest benefit of all is the priceless smiles it brings to the faces of our residents. 💝

As Roger Caras so beautifully said, “dogs are not our whole life, but they make our ives whole.” 🐶

🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳We had plenty of and didn’t mind one bit during our weekly program.

What was on the menu today? A delicious batch of ! With just a few simple ingredients—like 🥜peanut butter, 🌾oats, M&Ms—and a few other pantry favorites, we created a snack that’s as nutritious as it is delicious. Best of all…no baking required. 🙌

Cooking and baking 🥣, nourish much more than our bodies. They stir up cherished memories, encourage conversation, build confidence, and fill our hearts with joy. 💞 From measuring and pouring to stirring, rolling, and, of course…tasting 😋our creations keep hands busy, minds engaged, and smiles shining.

There’s something truly special about gathering around the table,🍴creating something together, and enjoying the of a job well done. 👍

Our Dancing class was back today, and the dance floor came alive! ✨

Professional ballroom dancer, Michael W had everyone, smiling as the room filled with 🪩spins, dips, twists, turns, and plenty of laughter.
As if that wasn’t enough, we were also treated to an incredible performance by Sierra, that had everyone clapping along! 👏

Music 🎼 has a special way of bringing people together, , , and getting —and that’s why our ballroom dancing class has remained one of our favorite programs for years. Whether dancing every step or cheering from the sidelines, everyone shares in the joy that music brings. ☺️

🎨 Crafting for a Cause 🎨

Our residents put their to work by designing beautiful -themed resin coasters for our upcoming .

Each coaster was uniquely decorated with colorful buttons, foam heart-shaped pieces, and plenty of , making every creation one-of-a-kind! 🤩

Not only was this a and project, but it also gave residents the opportunity to express themselves, exercise fine motor skills, and create something for others to enjoy. ✨

Our annual will be held on Wednesday, September 16th, from 3:00–6:00 PM.

You’ll find these , along with many other resident-crafted items, available for purchase. Every purchase helps support our Walk Team. 👟 👟

☕🌍 The Bridges Café Circle took a trip to Germany! 🇩🇪🍵

This month, we espresso-ed ourselves into culture with German-inspired coffee and tea, paired with some of Germany’s favorite treats—including warm, soft pretzels that were brew-tifully enjoyed by all! 🥨☕

Our didn’t stop there! Residents took a through some of Germany’s most cities, including and , while learning about the country’s rich , , and .

From iconic to fascinating customs, it was a wonderful way to travel the world—one cup at a time. 😉

At , every Café Circle is an opportunity to , , and create meaningful together. We can’t wait to see where our next cup of coffee (or tea!) takes us!
