out loud to God. 👇

“Nobody wants Christian
dance fitness. 😩

It’s too niche.
Too specific.
Too small of an idea
for You to be serious
about God.” ✝️

Like I was up there
advising Him on
market trends. 😂🙌🏽

As if the God who
fed five thousand people
with two fish and
five loaves needed
ME to tell Him
what was possible. 😂✝️

And He just said —

Trust Me. 🙌🏽

Not — here’s the data.
Not — here’s why
you’re wrong Victoria.
Not — let me prove it
to you first.

Just two words.

Trust Me. ✝️

So I did.

Terrified.
Unconvinced.
Fully expecting to
prove myself right. 😩

And then something
happened that I will
never get over. 👇

People showed up. 💃🏽

Not just a few.

People who had been
looking for exactly this.

Women who felt guilty
working out because
it felt too self centered. ✝️
People who wanted
to move their body
for God but didn’t
know how.
Men and women who
needed a fitness space
that felt like faith
and community and
worship all at once. 🙌🏽

Apparently God knew
they existed the
whole time. 😂🔥

While I was busy
telling Him the idea
was too niche —

He already knew
every single person
He was sending. ✝️

Turns out Christian
dance fitness wasn’t
too niche at all.

It was just specific
enough to reach exactly

Hear me out before

Every fitness space
talks about looking better.

Toning up.
Slimming down.
Transforming your body.

And listen —
there’s nothing wrong
with feeling good
in your skin.

But if the mirror
is the WHY behind
your fitness —

You will quit. 😔

Every single time.

Because the mirror
is a moving target.

Some days you like
what you see and
some days you don’t.

Some seasons your
body changes and
some seasons it doesn’t.

If your only reason
to move is the mirror —

The first bad reflection
wins. ✝️

But here’s what I’ve
learned building JoyFuel —

When your WHY is
honoring God with
the body He gave you? 💃🏽

That WHY doesn’t
change with what
the mirror says. ✝️

It doesn’t change
on the hard days.
It doesn’t change
when you miss a week.

Can I be honest
about something I
don’t talk about enough? 👇

Trusting God when you
don’t feel equipped
is one of the hardest
things I have ever done. 😩

And with JoyFuel —

I didn’t feel equipped
on day one. ✝️
I didn’t feel equipped
on day thirty.
I didn’t feel equipped
when the first member
showed up. 😔
I didn’t feel equipped
when it started growing.

There was not one
single moment where
I woke up and thought —

And I kept waiting
for that feeling to come.

Like if I just learned
enough.
Prepared enough.
Prayed enough.
Practiced enough —

Eventually I’d feel

It never came. 😩

And one day I realized —

God never promised
I would feel equipped.

He promised He would
equip me. ✝️

Those are two completely
different things. 🙌🏽

One is a feeling.
One is a fact.

And I had been waiting
on the feeling while
God was already
providing the fact. 💃🏽🔥

The equipment was
never mine to carry.

It was always His. ✝️

I just had to move
long enough to see
Him hand it to me
one step at a time. 🙌🏽

This week I get to do
one of my favorite

Leading dance worship
at kids camp. 💃✝️

There is something about
watching kids throw their
whole entire body into
worshipping God that
wrecks me every time.

No self consciousness.
No worrying about how
they look.
No holding back. 🙌🏽

Just pure unbridled
joy before the Lord.

Honestly? 👇

They’re not learning
from me this week.

I’m learning from them. ✝️

Because somewhere between
growing up and getting
busy we forget how
to move like nobody’s
watching except God. 💃🏽

Kids camp has a way
of reminding you. 🔥
