Rebecca gets this question almost every week, so let's answer it out loud.

"What's the difference between Botox and Daxxify?"

Short version: they're cousins. Both are the same type of neuromodulator, both relax the specific muscles that pull your skin into lines, and both have been used cosmetically for a long time. Botox has been FDA-approved for cosmetic use since 2002. Neither one is stronger or safer than the other. They're just formulated a little differently.

The practical differences are small but real. Daxxify tends to kick in a touch faster for some people, often around day two or three, whereas Botox usually starts showing up a bit later. Daxxify also spreads slightly more from the injection point, which some injectors prefer for larger areas like the forehead, while Botox's tighter spread is handy for small, precise spots. The units are measured differently between the two, so comparing them by unit count is apples to oranges.

Both take about two weeks to fully settle, and both generally last somewhere in the three to four month range.

Honestly? The bigger factor is not which product is in the vial. It's who's holding it, how well they read your face, and whether they listen when you tell them what you do and don't want. That's the part Rebecca is meticulous about.

Some people also just respond better to one than the other, and the only way to find that out is over time with someone who's paying attention.

If you're curious which one makes sense for you, your first visit with Rebecca is a complimentary consultation. No pressure, no obligation to book anything. You don't have to be an Orchard Health member either; this is open to the whole community. Results and suitability are always decided one-on-one in that consult.

Let's talk about the thing people actually ask us about first.

You've been eating better. You've been in the gym, or walking, or both. Most of your body has responded. And then there's one area that just sits there acting like none of it applies to it. Usually it's the midsection. Sometimes it's the arms, or the thighs.

That's not a discipline problem. Some areas hold on longer than others, and no amount of effort can tell your body where to make a change.

Emsculpt Neo is a big part of why we brought these machines to Statera in the first place. It's FDA cleared to do two things in one 30-minute session: reduce fat and build muscle in the area being treated. Radiofrequency warms the tissue while high-intensity electromagnetic energy puts that muscle through contractions you simply can't produce on your own, no matter how good your form is. You lie there fully clothed. You get up and drive home. No needles, no incisions, no downtime.

Now the question most of you are already typing into the message box. What does it cost?

The honest answer is that it depends on how many areas you're treating and how many sessions actually make sense for you, and we're not going to post a number that would be wrong for half the people reading this. So here's what we do instead. You come sit down with us. A consult covers what areas you're thinking about, whether EmSculpt NEO is even the right tool for what you're after (sometimes it isn't, and we'll tell you so), how many sessions we'd plan on, and exactly what your total would be before you commit to anything. No pressure, no hard sell, no surprise at the end.

Call us at (229) 638-6726 and we'll get you on the schedule.
Our machines are located at Statera Wellness Spa & Salon in Tifton, and their team takes wonderful care of our folks.

Results vary from person to person. We'll walk through what's realistic for you at your consult.

Here is one of the smallest things I ask patients to try, and one of the ones that sticks the best.

After supper, go for a walk for 10 or 15 minutes.

That's it. Not a workout. No shoes to buy, no app to download, no gym membership. Just down the road and back before the light goes.

The reason I like it is timing. Your blood sugar climbs after a meal, and moving your legs right afterward gives that sugar somewhere to go. For folks watching their A1c, or anybody who feels like they hit a wall on the couch around 8pm, that short walk after eating tends to do more good than the same fifteen minutes done at some other point in the day.

There's a second thing that happens, and honestly it might matter more. It gets you outside, off the phone, and usually next to somebody you love. I have patients who started this to help their numbers and kept doing it because it turned into the best fifteen minutes of their evening.

Start with the block. Take the dog. Take your spouse. Take a kid who needs to talk and won't do it sitting at a table.

As always, if you've got knee trouble, heart history, or you're on medication that affects your blood sugar, let's talk about what's right for you before you change much.

Nobody wakes up one morning and decides to quit doing the things they love. It happens a little at a time.

You take the aisle seat at church so you can slip out. You pass on the trampoline with the grandkids. You skip the class at the gym with all the jumping. You plan the drive to Valdosta around where you know there's a clean restroom. You start carrying a spare pair of pants in the truck and you never once say why.

We hear versions of this all the time, and almost nobody brings it up first. It comes out at the end of a visit, usually after the door's already been opened for something else. Bladder leaks rarely take one big thing away from a person. They take twenty small ones, and the list just quietly gets longer.

Emsella is worth knowing about. It's an FDA-cleared, non-invasive treatment for urinary incontinence in both women and men. You sit on the chair fully clothed for about 28 minutes while it works the pelvic floor muscles for you, then you get up and go on about your day. No needles, no surgery, no downtime.

We're not going to promise you a specific result, because that's not how honest medicine works. What we will do is take the question seriously, look at what's actually causing it, and tell you plainly whether we think this is a good fit for you. Sometimes it is. Sometimes something else is the better answer, and we'll say so.

If there's a list of things you've quietly quit doing, we'd love to help you get some of them back. Treatments are available through our partners at Statera Wellness Spa & Salon in Tifton, and a consult is just a conversation.

Individual results vary, and what's right for you is decided together at your consult.

"Enhance what you love. Refresh what you don't."

Tox and filler do different jobs. Tox softens the lines that movement creates. Filler restores what time quietly takes away: volume in the cheeks, structure along the jaw, fullness in the lips.

Used together, thoughtfully, they look like nothing.
They look like you, rested.

$50 off a syringe of filler through August 31.

Not sure which one you need? That's exactly what the consult is for. 🤍
Send us a message at (229) 638-6726, and we'll get you on the schedule.

Every few weeks, a business owner around here asks me some version of the same question. "It sounds good, but what does it actually look like to do this?"

Fair question. Here is the answer.

First, we talk. Not a pitch meeting. You tell me how many employees you have, what your current plan looks like, what is bleeding money, and what your people complain about. Sometimes that conversation ends with me telling you that you are already in decent shape. That happens.

Then we set the structure. A Direct Primary Care employer arrangement can be crafted to meet your business' needs. Cover the monthly membership for your employees, wrap a traditional plan around the membership to save on premiums and claims, payroll deduct all or part of the membership; there are countless ways we can help you set this up.

Then we onboard your team. This is the part owners underestimate. We can come to you, meet your people where they work, and get them signed up in person. Benefits nobody understands do not get used, and a benefit that does not get used does not save you anything.

Then we go to work. Your employees get same-day and next-day visits, direct messaging access to our amazing medical team, medications at our cost, and an annual lab panel that costs them, and you, nothing. No copays for their primary care. No claims to process. Nobody sitting in a waiting room for 3 hours on a Tuesday and calling it a sick day.

Here is what I would watch in the first 90 days. Are people actually using it? Because that is the whole point. Utilization is the leading indicator of everything that follows.

If you are working on 2027 benefits right now, this is the season to have the conversation, not December. Call us at (229) 638-6726 or reach out through orcharddpc.com, and we will walk you through it.

Business owners, what is the single biggest frustration with your current plan?
I bet we have a solution.

For the first time in five years, fewer than half of Americans, just 49%, can consistently afford the care and medications they need.

That statistic has a face, actually, several.

It's the mom who waits to see if the ear infection clears on its own, because the visit plus the antibiotic is more than she budgeted this month. It's the man who splits his blood pressure pills to stretch the bottle. It's the family that treats a fever like a math problem before they treat it like a fever.

We know this because we've spent almost 9 years watching good people make these impossible, small decisions.

At Orchard Health, our members don't make those calls.

✅ Call, text, or email your doctor directly; no phone tree, no gatekeeper
✅ Same-day and next-day appointments, because "we'll see you in two weeks" isn't an answer
✅ Longer visits, so we can actually get to the bottom of things
✅ Many medications, labs, and procedures available at or near wholesale cost, if not included in your membership altogether
✅ One predictable monthly membership; no copays, no surprise bills

Membership isn't insurance; you still want coverage for a hospital stay or a surgery. But your everyday health, the checkups, the sick visits, the chronic conditions, the "should I be worried about this?" texts at 8pm, that shouldn't require a spreadsheet.

Our members are part of our family. And families take care of each other.

Curious what membership looks like for you or your household?

Message us, and one of our incredible team members will walk you through it.
