Greetings! It’s Black Maternal Health Week. this week is very sacred and essential to spread knowledge on how to protect ourselves and let you all know about the problems we as melanated wombmen face everyday in the care of those who don’t mean us well most times.. Whether we are giving birth or just going for an ache , we have to protect ourselves and tell each other how to do the same! The medical system has never protected us or believed us when we are in pain! The system has done everything in its power to sterilize , kill, and steal from us as well (Henrietta Lacks). We must continue to stand our ground , educate the community from the young to the old , and love on one another. We must also continue to uplift/support our midwives , doulas, and medical workers that are for the people , for natural healing , and who are making change!
